How to know if I have a 2G device or SIM card.
1
Device Settings
Your phone is an older feature phone and does not support 3G or 4G LTE.
To check go to Settings >Mobile Networks.
If it only shows 2G/GSM or you DO NOT see a 3G/4G/LTE option, then you need to upgrade
2
How to check if you need a SIM upgrade
Check Your Signal bar, if it shows “2G”, “E” or “EDGE”
If you are experiencing very slow mobile data speeds with consistent buffering, you need to upgrade
We encourage customers to complete their upgrades as early as possible to avoid service disruptions during the transition.
