One Communications is offering a September handset Sale and is giving customers the opportunity to obtain discounted handsets once they sign up for a selected postpaid plan. The handset offers vary for each postpaid plan, and the promotional cost of the devices decreases with higher-value plans. The promotional offers are outlined in the table below:

This promotion is available to all customers, including new One Comm customers, prepaid customers who wish to be upgraded to postpaid and existing postpaid customers who can upgrade to a higher plan and receive the offer associated with that plan
No, all our handsets are locked to the One Communications network. Customers must either have an existing One Comm SIM card, they can purchase a new One Comm SIM or they can port their existing mobile number to the One Comm to use with the device.
Yes, all promotional handsets come with the standard manufacturer’s warranty of six (6) months.
Yes, each handset in this promotion is tied to a 24-month contract (two years) which legally holds the customer to the offered postpaid plan that comes with the handset for that period. After that time, the customer can choose to remain on the postpaid plan or downgrade to prepaid if they wish.
If a customer chooses to end their contract before the 24-month period, they will be required to clear off any outstanding charges and pay an early termination fee of either $100,000 with the Samsung A36 or $250,000 with any of the iPhones. This will be stated in the contract so they will be informed before signing the contract and collecting the handset.
Existing postpaid customers can upgrade their current plan to a higher value one and receive the handset offer associated with that plan in this promotion. However, customers on a higher plan cannot downgrade to a lower value plan and benefit from this promotion.
Yes, this promotion is limited to one handset per eligible plan sign-up. Hence, if a customer upgrades their mobile number on either the Eagle More, Eagle Prime or Eagle Premium plan, they are eligible for one handset that is offered with their new plan. However, if they have two mobile numbers to upgrade, they are entitled to two handsets that come with their chosen plans in this promotion.
Yes. All prepaid One Comm customers can keep their existing mobile numbers when they upgrade to the postpaid service. Customers without a One Comm number can also keep their existing numbers when they port into our network and sign up on one of the postpaid plans.
No, customers can upgrade to any postpaid plan free of cost. However, an advance payment of either $5000 (for the Eagle More plan), $8000 (for the Eagle Prime plan) or $13000 (for the Eagle Premium plan) is often required to be made avoid bill shock at the end of the month.
Postpaid is a service that comes with monthly allocations of data, SMS and minutes (including on-net & off-net) and it works on a 40-day billing cycle. Customers are required to pay a fixed amount every month for those allotments eliminating the need to manually top up and activate data plans. Payments can be made through MMG, bank transfers or at any One Comm store.

All prepaid balances on the customer’s account will be lost during the conversion process. However, there is a Postpaid Welcome Pack that will be added to the account once it is successfully upgraded to compensate for the prepaid balance. Additionally, any mobile credit on the account can be transferred to another One Comm prepaid number by the representatives at the stores once provided.
